Vintage Goodrich 18 Wall Mount Porcelain Commercial Gas Station Barn Light

  

This rare Goodrich 18 off center deep dome shade light is in very good condition for over 60 years of age. Has plenty of normal wear and some color fading. There is nothing major to report that stands out. There are plenty of deep domes for sale but not many off centered ones. Produced by Appleton Electric Products.

This is equipped with a mogul base (E39). Also included is a new Eagle 351 mogul-to-mogul porcelain socket extension. Extends mogul socket by 2-3/8 All new 12 gauge outdoor wire. Also included is a standard household medium base converter porcelain socket; (E26 or E27). Just screw it into the E39 base and you can now use any standard household bulb. The original E39 socket is in good condition so I didnt think it was necessary to replace it. This fixture comes with a Phillips 300 watt incandescent bulb. The bulb is used so I would plan on purchasing one in the future. With the deep dome you will illuminate glare. The exact cost depends on your electrical rates. The diameter is 18 inches. The height (with the large nut on top) is 9 1/2 These lights were produced by Appleton Electric Products. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask. I live in northern Minnesota.
